A BLITZ TO ENCOURAGE PERSEVERANCE!

What is it?

• The involvement of over 40 volunteers, members of CAPS, the TEO, students, teachers, school personnel and other community members, who set up kiosks in our communities in public places, to talk to the public about encouraging our students to stay in school.

 

• The distribution of post cards, that can be personalized to encourage students to persevere.

• 8700 cards were distributed during the 2010 edition!

 

 

Why do we do it?

• To highlight the role we ALL play in encouraging school perseverance

• To highlight the importance of individually encouraging our students

• To encourage the community to get involved in campaigning for increased school perseverance awareness and the encouragement of our students
